Nursery care is available from 8:45-10:15 and 10:45-12:15
Children between the ages of 1 and pre-kindergarten age will enjoy a warm and happy environment with our professional staff in the Common Room. This room is located in the main Fellowship Building adjacent the kitchen. The facility is safe, clean and equipped with toys, puzzles and blocks.
We ask that you please provide any equipment your child may need (such as bottles, snacks, etc.) in a bag, clearly marked with your child’s name. Please also sign in with the caregiver when you arrive. Children in this room may be dropped off before the service, or after the “Time for All Ages” portion of the service.
Children of any age are also welcome to remain with their parents in worship.
Preschool (Ages 3 to 5)
Our preschoolers will have fun in Chalice Children. This curriculum, specifically geared toward very young children, begins to teach children about Unitarian Universalism based on the philosophy that spiritual development is related to a child’s direct experiences. Most sessions provide the chance to strengthen the child’s sense of community. This class meets in the Nook (small room near bathrooms) during the 9:00 am service after the “Story” portion of the service.
