From reality competition to trivia and chance, gameshows have played a huge role in the creation, distribution, and reconstruction of American values for decades. How those values line up with those we share as Unitarian Universalists can be harder to identify. So, cʻmon on down for another fabulous service where we explore how to trouble the more harmful bits of wisdom, morality, and ethics we learn from gameshows while still having fun.

Rev. Dr. Greg Carrow-Boyd served as Chalice’s Sabbatical Minister from August-October 2022. He has been the Executive Minister of Religious Education at the First Unitarian Church of Honolulu, Hawaii since January 2023. He will be at Chalice in-person this morning.
