Communal Gathering and Sharing of Memories
in honor of Bruce Campbell
Saturday, May 27 at 2 p.m.
The congregation was notified last Saturday that Bruce Campbell, one of Chalice’s founding members, had died unexpectedly.
There will be a Celebration of Life later this summer, but you are warmly welcome to gather at Chalice this Saturday for a short program in the chapel, including a laying on of hands to bless the Campbell family, followed by time to visit and be in community together. There will be cookies and coffee.
The Campbells would very much love to hear and capture your memories of Bruce. You are invited to share in whatever way suits you:
- At Saturday’s gathering, you can share your memory verbally in the Blue Room, where you will be recorded.
- At Saturday’s gathering, you can write down your memories using cards that will be provided (similar to Chalice’s candle cards).
- You can write down (type up) your memories in a word doc (or other shareable file) and share them with the Campbells using this google folder link for written memories. Be sure to include your name so they know who is sharing.
- You are also encouraged to share your photos of Bruce with the Campbells using this google folder link for photos.
This in-person gathering will not be livestreamed, but the Celebration of Life will be.
