Chalice,

I am so honored and excited that the Board has voted to co-ordain me with First Church. You’ve been with me through this last year of ministerial development and are an important part of my ongoing growth in ministry. I have loved ministering at Chalice so far, and am deeply honored for Chalice to a part of this milestone in my life and ministry.

You are all enthusiastically invited to my ordination at First Church’s Hilllcrest Campus on January 16 at 3pm for ceremony and celebration. Part of me wishes we could just squeeze into our chapel on Sunday morning and ordain me here, but I also understand that ordinations are often gloriously long and we would all want to have chairs.

In the meantime, thank you for your good wishes, and keep being amazing.
