We spend most of our lives working towards who we want to be. But we are also influenced by who we don’t want to be. Shame researcher Brene Brown calls these unwanted identities. This morning we will reflect on who we do and don’t want to be.
Our pulpit guest, Kate Vereb, is a Clinical Social Worker who obtained her Master’s Degree at Fordham University in NYC. She specializes in helping people through life transitions. She joined Chalice as a member in 2019. She is on the Outreach and Legacy committees, the Communications Task Force, leads the Parents Neighborhood Group, and assists with Newcomer coffee and the Women’s Support Group.
