Climate change is here to stay. Every day we are challenged to mitigate its effects,
and when we cannot, we are challenged to adapt to our new environment. How can
we, as people of faith, work together to accomplish mitigation and adaptation? How
can we, as people of faith, do this work in a way that is just? The Green Sanctuary
Program offers us the opportunity to work collectively to do our small but powerful
part. Please join us this Sunday to learn more about the program. In the words of
Jewish scholar and leader Hillel, and paraphrased by many after him, “If not us,
who? If not now, when?”
