Bread for the Journey: “Do I Dare to Eat a Peach?”

This is the fifth Sunday of our Summer Worship Series: Bread for the Journey.

American culture warps our view of our bodies and of food. Combined with the Calvinism that is part of our history, these warped views can harm us. We’ll explore the omnipresent cultural connections between our bodies and the concept of sin, and we’ll see how we might rediscover simple pleasures.
